How appropriate to post my first post on Earth Day. I live in a grand neighborhood with barely a spring flower to be seen. However, I took a hike up to my local reservoir the other day and tried out my zoooom lens on some lovely bits of the wild. Here are a few shots. I was about to pack up my trusty Nikon and said to myself, "I wish I could have seen just one single flower to ad to my set. Oh well..." when I turned my head to the embankment beside me. There, was a single perfect, some kind of flower, just sitting there. Waiting for me. Isn't life like that. Maybe we just need to look a little sideways to see straight.
